Precision Shade Management — Engineered for Every Crop & Climate

Excess sunlight is one of the most underestimated threats to crop quality in North India. During peak summer months, unfiltered solar radiation scorches foliage, accelerates moisture loss, and significantly reduces marketable yield — especially in high-value crops like strawberries, floriculture, and leafy vegetables.

Agrifirst's shadenet structures provide a precisely calibrated growing environment by filtering sunlight to optimal levels without sacrificing airflow or natural ventilation. Our Dome Shape Net Houses are ideal for taller crops and floriculture, offering superior structural strength and wind resistance. Flat-Roof Shade Net Houses are preferred for strawberry cultivation, nursery production, and crops requiring uniform light distribution across large areas.

Our shade net range covers every requirement — from Ginegar's Aluminet reflective nets and Polysack woven nets to our own Agrifirst Tape×Tape and Mono×Mono shade nets for cost-effective field protection. For situations where fixed netting isn't practical, our SombraSol and Solar Guard liquid shading solutions allow precise, spray-applied shading directly on greenhouse films or glass — easily adjusted seasonally without structural changes.

Paired with our soilless growing systems including Mapal Growing Troughs and Strawberry Containers in both open and closed configurations, Agrifirst shadenet setups are complete, high-productivity growing environments trusted by farmers and agri-entrepreneurs across Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttarakhand.

A shade net house is a structure covered with specially engineered netting that filters a defined percentage of sunlight — typically 25% to 75% — while allowing free airflow, rainfall, and natural ventilation. It protects crops from scorching heat, hailstorms, heavy rain, birds, and insects, significantly reducing crop damage and post-harvest losses while improving the consistency and quality of the produce.

A Dome Shape Net House features a curved, tunnel-like profile that offers excellent structural strength, superior wind resistance, and more headroom for tall crops like tomatoes, capsicum, and floriculture. A Flat-Roof Shade Net House has a horizontal roof structure that provides uniform light distribution across the entire growing area — making it ideal for strawberries, nursery beds, and crops requiring consistent shading without shadows shifting throughout the day.

Shade net houses are extremely versatile. In North India, they work exceptionally well for strawberries, roses, gerbera, carnations, capsicum, cucumbers, leafy vegetables, nursery seedling production, and medicinal herbs. The choice of shading percentage matters — floriculture typically uses 30–50% shade nets while nurseries and vegetables may require 50–75% shading depending on the season and crop stage.

Ginegar Aluminet is a premium Israeli-engineered aluminized shade net that reflects solar radiation rather than simply absorbing it like standard shade nets. This reflective property keeps the internal temperature significantly cooler — often 4–8°C lower than conventional nets — while also diffusing light more uniformly across the crop canopy. Aluminet is particularly effective in high-temperature regions and for temperature-sensitive crops where both shading and cooling are critical.

Tape×Tape shade nets are woven using flat tape strips in both warp and weft directions, producing a denser, more rigid fabric with excellent UV resistance — ideal for permanent structures requiring long-term durability. Mono×Mono shade nets are woven using round monofilaments in both directions, creating a lighter, more flexible net with superior airflow and consistent shading. Agrifirst's own branded shade nets in both types are available in various shading percentages, allowing you to choose based on your crop, structure, and budget.

Liquid shading products like SombraSol and Solar Guard are water-based compounds sprayed directly onto greenhouse films, glass, or polycarbonate roofs to create a temporary, adjustable shading layer. They are ideal when retrofitting fixed shade nets is impractical, when shading requirements change seasonally, or when you need precise, variable shading on existing structures without any structural modifications. They wash off naturally with rain or can be removed manually, giving you complete flexibility across growing seasons.

Mapal Growing Troughs are specialized soilless cultivation channels designed for high-density planting inside net houses and greenhouses. Crops are grown in a substrate like coco peat or rockwool placed inside the trough, with drip irrigation delivering precise nutrient solutions directly to the root zone. This eliminates soil-borne diseases, maximizes plant density per square meter, and significantly reduces water and fertilizer usage — making it a highly efficient system for strawberries, herbs, and leafy crops inside shadenet structures.

Open Type Strawberry Containers allow the growing substrate to be exposed at the top and sides, promoting natural drainage and airflow around the root zone — suitable for environments with lower disease pressure and moderate humidity. Closed Type Strawberry Containers fully enclose the substrate, preventing contamination, controlling moisture retention more precisely, and reducing the risk of fungal root diseases. The closed system is particularly recommended for high-humidity seasons or farms transitioning from soil-based to fully soilless strawberry cultivation.

Yes. Shade net house structures are eligible for subsidies under the National Horticulture Board (NHB), Mission for Integrated Development of Horticulture (MIDH), and various state horticulture department schemes. Subsidy coverage typically ranges from 40–65% of the project cost depending on the state, farm size, and structure type. Agrifirst assists farmers across North India — including Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttarakhand — with complete Detailed Project Report (DPR) preparation and application coordination for maximum subsidy approval.

Agrifirst is North India's leading hi-tech agriculture company offering complete shadenet solutions — from structure design and installation to premium nets, liquid shading, and integrated soilless growing systems. We supply globally trusted brands like Ginegar alongside our own Agrifirst-branded shade nets, giving you quality options at every budget level. With hands-on crop advisory, subsidy assistance, and post-installation support, every Agrifirst shadenet project is engineered to deliver measurable improvements in yield quality, water efficiency, and farm profitability.
